Summertime and the living is easy. Fish are jumping and the cotton is high.
That song is so quintessentially summer to me. Summer is at its peak here in Omaha, and Josh and I are trying to enjoy it to the fullest. This past weekend we drove to Standing Bear Lake and spent part of the day outdoors relaxing and soaking up the sun near the water.
We packed up our picnic basket with food and some fun activities to do while we lounged on our picnic blanket and chatted away the day.
Peace is sipping ice cold coffee on a warm summer day lounging next to the guy you love on a blanket in a park. And was this coffee good! It's crazy to me that I never used to be a coffee fan growing up because now I can't get enough of it. Josh is a big reason for that change. He grew up drinking coffee from a very young age and drinks it like I drink water. Haha. He has exposed me to so many different kinds and flavors. We now love trying new brews together. This one was a definite favorite.
