Roll Roll Roll the Cinnamon Roll

Roll Roll Roll the Cinnamon Roll
So I have a new obsession: Last week on Twitter Larabar announced they had boxes of their cinnamon roll bars to give away to fans that create a song about the brand, record it, and send it to them. What I do for food. One very off-key rendition of roll roll roll the cinnamon roll later I got an email saying a box of them were on their way to me! I was so excited to get to try them and discover they are absolutely delicious! Made solely of fruit and nuts they somehow found a way to make them taste just like a cinnamon roll! I had some errands to run today for this weekend (Its Josh and I's first anniversary!) so I took one with me to eat while I shopped in between classes. Its a big snack and kept me full for hours! After shopping and finishing up classes for the day I headed home and got to work making dinner. Earlier in the day I decided today was going to be a tofu day. While the tofu was marinating I ate some potatoes and squash Diane had made for dinner. They were both really good. I marinated the tofu in this marinade for about forty minutes. After I placed it on the cooking sheet I spooned the leftover marinade directly on top of the tofu for more flavor. Ten minutes in the broiler later and I had this amazing tofu salad for dinner. So easy and so good! I'm keeping this post short tonight because I still have some arts and crafts to do tonight, and because the CMA's are on at 8 tonight. Any fellow country music fans out there? Before I go I wanted to share this hysterical Wendys training video from 1989 that Josh shared with me yesterday. It is a real training video they used to teach their employees how to use the grill to make hamburgers involving a rapper and some slick dance moves. I couldn't stop laughing when I watched it. This would only happen in the 80's! Question of the Day: What's your favorite decade of the 20th century? I'm a 90's child through and through. Nick at Night, Power Rangers, NySync, its all good stuff!
