This is the Ready for Action bag and a very limited number are being released to Whole Foods stores nationwide.
Okay, so it sounds cool and it looks cool, but what is it?
Whole Foods is all about helping customers live their best lives, and this summer they want to help them achieve a healthy active lifestyle. When a lot of people think of Whole Foods, they just think about food, but they are so much more than that. They have a huge array of supplements, protein powders and superfoods with the highest quality standards from the best brands. The Ready for Action bag highlights these products and is filled with items needed for the three stages of active living: getting ready, being active, and replenishing.
The best part?
This bag is worth $50 and they're selling it for $12! You know I love a good deal, and this bag is packed with top-of-the-line, natural, organic products.
The bag itself is from RIJI Green, a company dedicated to ending human trafficking. It is made from 100% jute and organic cotton and is super cute. I'm totally going to use this when I travel for a fun way to store things in my purse and carry-on.
Here's a breakdown of the items inside:
Nuun Active Natural Electrolyte Enhanced Drink Tabs -- For when you need a little extra oomph in your workout
Toms of Maine Long Lasting Deodorant -- A natural option for an everyday necessity (I'm a huge fan of this brand and their mission.)
Boiron Arnicare Gel -- For when your body is sore and needs a little TLC
Aubrey Pure Aloe Vera -- For when you overdo it in the sun and your skin needs some relief (I unfortunately already had to use this for a one arm sunburn I got while driving in my car. :( #palepeopleproblems While there's nothing that will keep sunburns from sucking, I'm glad I have this aloe to make my skin feel better.)
Goddess Garden Organics Sunscreen -- For preventing sunburn in the first place and keeping wrinkles at bay (Josh and I love this sunscreen! I actually have a big spray bottle in my purse right now! I don't know why it doesn't occur to me to use it before I'm driving for extended periods of time.)
There is also a Spectrum Essential recipe book with samples of the following products, so you can whip up your own healthy concoctions at home:
Spectrum Warrior Vitality Blend
Garden of Life Perfect Food Raw
Amazing Grass Amazing Meal Vanilla Chai (I gave this one to Josh to take to work since he is notorious for forgetting a lunch. I love that he can make this quickly while on-the-go and still have a healthy, protein-packed meal.)
Spectrum Orchard Fruit Blend Ground Flaxseed (I love using flaxseeds in my smoothies for a source of healthy fats and fiber!)
It's a great bag with a great mix of products to incorporate into your healthy lifestyle. These bags are expected to sell out this weekend, so if you want to nab one of these before they're gone, make sure to head to Whole Foods on Saturday. It's also a perfect time to stock up on protein powders as they will all be 25% off! My personal favorite is hemp!
