Playful Pants

Playful Pants
Sometimes, you just have to have fun with your outfits. Lately I've been doing that with what I call "playful pants." They're colorful, fun, and add a little extra something something to your outfit. Purple Pants Her Heartland Soul

I picked these pants up at Loft last year and have been loving them ever since. They're soft, comfy, and the color is so vibrant. While at first I thought they'd be mostly fall pants, I've since found ways to wear them year-round.

Since my purple pants are no longer available, I wanted to offer some other fun alternatives if you're looking for playful pants. I basically want them all. :D

Purple Pants Her Heartland Soul I love how a pop of bright color in an outfit takes what would otherwise be a pretty neutral outfit and brings it to life. Purple Pants Her Heartland Soul I cannot get enough of my Lucky flats. They go with everything and are so comfy. Good thing I have them in brown and black! ;) Purple Pants Her Heartland Soul Also, how fun is this R. Riveter purse? I first learned about R. Riveter on Shark Tank and fell in love with the mission of the company. Founded by two military spouses, R. Riveter is dedicated to providing jobs to military spouses that can be done from anywhere in the country, no matter where you're stationed or how often you move. Using recycled military equipment, military spouses create high-end handbags. Each piece of the bag is worked on by different women, who then ship all the pieces to one central US location where the bag is put together and the design brought to life. It's pretty extraordinary and a story I was excited to be able to share. Yet another reason I love Shark Tank. :D [Tweet "Playful Pants @Rriveterbags  @LOFT @Target Style @JCrew @LuckyBrand #style #ootd"] Questions of the Day: Are you a fan of playful pants? Do you prefer patterns and loud colors on your pants or on your tops? Do R. Riveter bags sound like a purse line you'd be interested in? Photos by Heidi Thorson
