My Wedding Hair
I'm getting married in a week and a day! Not that I'm counting or anything. ;p It's such a big day, a day girls dream of all their lives. And it's almost here. While I was in Connecticut I did something very exciting-- I figured out how I'm wearing my hair. I had a test run a few months ago to figure out the color and some possibilities. The color was perfect but none of the hairstyles seemed perfect. This time we touched up the color and then got to work on a style. I went to Capture Salon in New Haven, CT. Josh has had Renee cut his hair since his first haircut. As a wedding present she offered to do my hair and makeup for the big day. She is amazing. She dreamed this style up in her head and I could not be more happy with it. I think it will go so perfectly with my dress. I also tried out false eyelashes for the first time. They felt really comfortable. (And will be more properly placed for the big day.) I think they'll make a big difference in how my eyes look in wedding photos. I love love love the side bun with curls. And I think the back looks so pretty. I wanted something romantic and elegant that would be out of my face and stay up through a whole day of moving and dancing and picture taking. Renee created exactly what I was looking for.
