was spent in wonderful company. Josh, Lily, Pierce, and I went to Mad Mex for burritos and margaritas and had an amazing time. They leave for New York not long after we leave for Omaha!
Of course there was froyo involved.
There was plenty of other good food this weekend too. In between packing and running errands Josh and I grabbed salads from Fiddlehead. We also tried their new berry, green tea, and coconut cream soup. It was delicious, and something I'm already planning on re-creating as soon as we unpack our Vitamix.
We had make-your-own hibachi at Green Bowl.
And one last veggie burger from The Deli. I'm so going to miss that place.
We had to have one last breakfast at Waffle Shop. Their breakfast is legendary and I already look forward to coming back to Penn State to visit to eat here again.
There was some Puma fun that I'll be blogging more about later.
I decided it was time to take my shellac nails from the wedding off. Making alien hands really does make the process a lot easier! (Alien hands involves rubbing cotton balls in nail polish remover and then placing them on each finger and wrapping aluminum foil around them. You let them sit for ten minutes and then you take them off and can scrub off the nail polish much easier.)
Josh and I got couples' massages at Artemis downtown. It was such a romantic experience. I was bliss-ed out the entire time and already can't wait to get another one in the future. I left feeling like a very happy noodle.
I had a gift card to use at Express and ended up taking a packing break to check out weekend sales at the mall. Gap was 40% off clearance. I scooped up this dress for $17 after all the discounts!
I also found a barn of penguins. I kid you not. Life is good. :)
Question of the Day: What was the highlight of your weekend?
