Happy Friday guys! How has has your week been? Mine has seriously flown by. Josh and I are hosting our Hanukkah party tomorrow night. We have so much cleaning and preparation to do before then. Fingers crossed we get it all done in time! I'm trying not to freak out and imagine our friends arriving to a pigsty.
But let's focus on the positive! Here are some of my favorite things this Friday:
1. You guys know I'm cat obsessed. When I saw these cat flats it was pretty much love at first sight. Luckily for me, while the ones on the left are almost $500, the ones on the right are very similar and under $30. That's about my budget for buying cat shoes. ;)
2. I went to Verizon yesterday to check out their new products and see what everyone's asking for for Christmas. I feel old because the things I wanted most were the Nest Smoke Alarm, Nest Thermostat, and Nest Camera. The technology behind smart home products amaze me. I love that if your fire alarm goes off it will notify your phone!
3. The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show was amazing, as per usual. I loved getting to see all the beautiful costumes and watch the musical performances. These were my four favorite outfits of the night.
4. I'm a big Dove fan, and and always on the lookout for new products from the company. I recently tried the Dove Dry Spray and am in love with this deodorant. It's easy to use, absorbs quick, and smells like I just put on perfume. I've never used a spray on deodorant before and now I'm not sure why. It's just easier.
5. Speaking of products I'm in love with: if you need a makeup remover you have to check out The Original Makeup Eraser. I was in Sephora buying foundation a few weeks ago and got sucked into the wall of impulse buys by the checkout. I saw this makeup eraser that claims to remove even waterproof makeup with nothing more than water and this cloth.
I was skeptical, but desperately wanted to find a product that worked. So I forked over the $20 and decided to experiment. You guys, I haven't looked back. I have no idea how a simple polyester cloth does this but it removes my makeup in seconds without serious scrubbing and pulling at my skin. I just wet the washcloth, rub it on my face, and boom, makeup is gone. It's incredible.
