1. I get to see Taylor Swift tonight!! I am BEYOND excited. I still have to make a sign so fingers crossed she sees it, invites me backstage, and I get to meet the person I've felt like was supposed to be my best friend since I heard Tim McGraw on country radio many, many years ago.
2. Last night I got to attend a fun event at the Travel Design Lounge in Omaha. Owned by Travel and Transport, this lounge is a test concept for the rest of the country that offers travel agency services in a completely new setting. Instead of going into a boring office to discuss travel plans why not go into a beautiful lounge, browse package options with your travel agent on the big screen, and enjoy a glass of wine and some appetizers from the area you're planning your trip to? It's a great concept and one I can see being incredibly popular for the Millennial market. Josh uses Travel and Transport for his work trips and I could definitely see us using Travel Design Lounge for planning big European trips that we hope to take in the future.
3. I'm so happy to be home with Punkin after traveling last weekend! It's crazy how much I miss this little guy when I'm gone for even a few days. He brings my heart so much happiness and I physically cannot stand his cuteness. I mean look at those eyes!! Our catsitter sent us this photo while we were gone last weekend and it instantly became one of my favorites.
4. I'm on a serious plaid kick at the moment. How perfect is this plaid purse? It's a great price point and such a chic accessory for fall.
5. Because all I'm really thinking about is going to see Taylor Swift today I'm ending this post with my all-time favorite song of hers. I love upbeat songs as much as the next girl but Taylor Swift slays songs about heartbreak. You can just feel the anguish. I remember watching this performance live and being mesmerized. I can't wait to see what she sings tonight!
