Fierce Meets Fit: HKNB Review

Fierce Meets Fit: HKNB Review
Edited to add: I accidentally posted this last Monday, a week ahead of the campaign launch date. If it looks familiar, it's because you might have read it before I realized and took it down. Whoops! Happy Monday everyone! This weekend was a wonderful one. For the first time in a long time it felt good to get up and move. I've had so much I've been wanting to tell you and share with you, and now I'm finally feeling better to be able to do so. Is anyone else so excited Spring is coming and Winter/ cold-season is almost behind us? This top screams Spring to me. It is super fashionable and fun and is a part of the new Heidi Klum for New Balance line. I was sent this HKNB Mesh Inset Tank to review (disclaimer: sponsored post) and literally "oohed" while opening the box. Josh immediately said he loved it, and pointed out that it's like nothing else I have in my (seriously extensive) workout clothing collection. It is so fresh and so on trend. It truly is fierce meets fit. I couldn't wait to put this bad boy on. Just by touching it you could tell how high-quality the tank was and I loved how it fit and felt. I am someone who has to put together an outfit to work out. When I was in highschool I did the whole over-sized t-shirt and sweatpants at the gym thing and felt horrible. The clothes didn't perform like I needed them to during my workouts and I just felt schlumpy and blah. I've since learned that when you look good you feel good. When I walked into my gym wearing this top I felt super cute and ready to dominate my workouts. I also love how this tank gives me the illusion of boobs. I'll take it! ;p As cute as this tank is, it's meant for serious workout sessions. Zumba was moved from our typical studio to a carpeted yoga room with half the space. 25 people dancing it out for an hour in a tiny space led to a serious hot Zumba session. The mesh back of the tank kept me cool and sweat free when even the instructor was dripping sweat. I left feeling great and burned 694 calories! Mint is one of my favorite colors. It looks great with blue eyes and pairs perfectly with the biggest workout trend of the moment: neon! To run I paired my tank with basic black leggings. (I always opt for neutral pants and colorful tops.) I then added neon pops with my sneakers and socks. I loved how this look came together and felt great during my run. To celebrate the release of Heidi Klum for New Balance I made a Pinterest board. It features some of my favorite pieces from the collection and some fun workout inspiration. Question of the Day: Do you try to look good when you workout? Disclosure: This post was sponsored by Heidi Klum for New Balance through their partnership with POPSUGAR Select. While I was compensated to write a post about Heidi Klum for New Balance, all opinions are my own.
