My favorite layer lately has been this Burberry Quilted Jacket. I picked it up for $65 used and have been wearing it daily since I got it in the mail. It's a perfect fall and spring coat that adds warmth but not too much heat.
I love that it's a little bigger so I can wear lots of stuff underneath. It also looks great paired with my $16 Target scarf. :D The pattern I'm wearing is sold out online but on sale for $13 if you can snag one at a local store.
I've been wanting a military-esque jacket for a long time. I found this one on a local Omaha Buy Sell Trade FB group. It was $10 for a lot of items. I only wanted this jacket so I bought the lot and donated the rest.
Good layering starts with a good base. Adea reached out to me a few weeks ago to offer me one of their layering shirts to try. They're a company that's committed to providing well-made basics that will last wear after wear. Their clothing materials are sourced from Italy and made in Italy and the US. They are so soft and comfy. I've been wearing my v-neck layering tee often.

I picked up these boots at T.J.Maxx two winters ago and have been so impressed by how they're holding up for being made of synthetic materials. My next boot purchase is going to be all-leather. I'm eyeing up these bad boys. They're on sale and I've heard fabulous things.
I've been wearing this scarf so much I know it's probably time to wash it but I'm terrified it will get ruined. I definitely should have picked up two!
Confession time: I have had a horrible pimple on my chin for the past week. It's finally going away but was still there when I took these photos this past weekend. If you look at my outfit shots you'll notice it but for the close up shots I did everyone a favor and used the Retouch tool on iPhoto. That's as Photo-shopped as things are going to get around here.
