We arranged a colorful centerpiece.
Added some cute chickies to our entryway.
And did a fun little $5 DIY craft for our coffee table.
We also set up a crafting station to wrap some gifts for Easter. Living far away from family is especially hard when you're not able to be together for the holidays. My friend Molly's family has adopted us and is so sweet to invite us to their family celebrations here in Omaha. We'll be spending Easter with them again this year and I'm really looking forward to it. When Shari's Berries reached out to me to see about spreading sweetness at Easter, I couldn't think of a better family to shower with delicious sweet treats. They are a huge reason Omaha feels like home to me and Josh.
And speaking of sweet, have you tried Shari's Berries before? Oh my goodness the strawberries are yummy. They're so big and juicy! My favorites are the dark chocolate covered strawberries pictured above.
The cake truffles are AMAZING! I was legitimately sad to see this box empty. It's like little bites of the moistest cake wrapped in chocolate. (Sidenote, but does anyone else hate the word moist? I wish there was another word for moist cake than... moist cake.)
And who doesn't love sea salt caramels? These are ridiculously good.
Josh and I had a lot of fun wrapping up goodies for next week's brunch. (Including these Easter brownie pops and these chocolate dipped Easter Oreos!) They're such a great way to say thanks to a family that means so much to us.
If you have someone you want to say thanks to with a box of sweetness, leave a comment letting me know who. Or if you just want to enjoy some chocolate, leave a comment letting me know that. Shari's Berries is giving away a special sweet surprise to one Her Heartland Soul reader! The winner will be picked Friday morning!
