Cruising into Spring

Cruising into Spring
With the weather getting nice again (Omaha has had some serious ups and downs this winter!) I've been itching to spend time outside. Growing up I spent a lot of summers at the seashore where cruiser bikes were considered a major form of transportation. While I'm a long way from the shore now, I thought it would be fun to start bike riding again. So I bought a cruiser! Cruising into Spring Her Heartland Soul

I am obsessed with the color and love that is has a bell. It's also under $200! Now I just need a basket and it will be perfect.

Josh and I went on a bike riding date over the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge and along the Council Bluff bike trails. While Josh's mountain bike handles hills a lot better than my seven-speeder, mine is cuter. ;)

It was such a fun way to get outside, spend time together, and be active. We're thinking about buying a bike hitch for our car so we can go bike around some of Omaha's lakes and parks. I see lots of spring bike rides in our future!
