When Josh and I were newlyweds, I made him an advent calendar to celebrate our first married Christmas. It's a fun way to give him a present a day as we celebrate Christmas the whole month of December.
Here we are three years later and it's still kicking. It's amazing what some Scotch® Brand masking tape and Scotch® Create Double Sided Tape will do! I simply tape up the advent calendar to the wall and don't worry about it again until I'm taking it down after Christmas.
As you can see, I'm not Martha Stewart, but he absolutely loved the gift, and so it became a yearly tradition.
This year I decided to spruce it up a little bit thanks to Scotch® Brand. I snuck out to Walmart to pick up some Scotch® Expressions Tapes and Scotch® Create supplies for my surprise.
I wanted to do the present bags this year with red and green Washi tape. Scotch® Brand had lots of fun options in every size, shape, and color. It made finding the right craft products a breeze!
I simply assigned each bag a number and taped away!
My project took less than a half an hour and I love how it turned out. The best part is, Josh loves it too! It's a simple way to add a little extra fun to the everyday.
