There's few things we love more than sweets and seeing movies together. My dad is where I got my sweet tooth from. And our movie adventures have run the gamut from Band of Brothers, to Twilight, to Up, to The Notebook, to Despicable Me. I miss our Father-Daughter lunch and movie dates so much.
When I was given the opportunity by Walmart to pick out a Hallmark Minion card for a loved one, I laughed at what perfect timing it was. My relationship with my dad is sweet, silly, and fun, just like the Minions! I knew he'd love one of these cards!
I picked out this one because Bob is my favorite character and he carries his bear everywhere like I used to carry my stuffed duck, Mr. Puff, when I was little (Is this sharing too much from my walk down memory lane? haha). I have a feeling Bob is going to become a toy for one of my dad's new kittens... ;)
In an age where everything is virtual, it means a lot to me to give and receive handwritten cards.
Especially to the guy who has supported and loved me from my very first moment on Earth.
It may have been a little late, but this birthday celebration was a very special one to me. Here's hoping for more celebrations together in person!
