Josh and I explored downtown New Haven. We went for lunch at my favorite Indian place. It's called Thali Too and their saag paneer is out of this world.
I discovered a cupcake truck that sells cannoli cupcakes! Sugar makes fabulous cupcakes.
We walked around the New Haven green where the arts festival was going on. There was a really cool performance happening that had the whole crowd dancing.
Debbie and I had a girls night over Thai food. It was delicious.
There was delicious New Haven pizza.
And cannolis from Libby's.
We tackled our seating chart! I was scared this would be a really daunting task but putting everyone's names on note cards made this super easy. We were able to assign note card groups tables and then move people around as needed.
Debbie made her delicious pasta afterwards which we paired with a salad made from greens picked up at the farmers market.
Before I knew it it was time to head back to PA. On my way I made a pit-stop in Greenwich to meet up with Alec. She showed me around the town and took me to her favorite water spot. It was so beautiful and relaxing being out by the water. I tried to soak it up before trips to the coast becomes less frequent.
We then headed to the local Soul Cycle for a class. It was amazing. The instructor was Chanel and she created the most intensely awesome workout. The class was packed and the music was perfect. I absolutely love the atmosphere of Soul Cycle. I left so happy.
We got lunch afterward at Le Pain Quotidien. My sandwich was fabulous. I was starving.
And because Alec and I both have serious sweet tooths we made a run to Pinkberry before she had to get back to Soul Cycle for work and I had to catch the train back to NYC. I got a strawberry banana Greek yogurt smoothie and it was delicious.
And now I'm back to PA and heading back to work. Three more days of work before it's all wedding and moving planning all the time.
Question of the Day: What's your favorite group workout classes?
