This year we decided to be penguins! How adorable are these hats? After meeting up with everyone we headed over to the Dark Horse Tavern for some drinks and to listen to a cover band.
Our full costume. I wore black tights and black flats while Josh wore black pants and black shoes. I think our costumes were simple but very effective!
Nicole and Mike went as I Dream of Jeannie and the Pilot. I thought this was such an awesome couple's costume!
Lily and Pierce went as Leela and Fry from Futurama. I haven't ever seen the show but I thought it was really cute!

We all had a lot of fun and the cover band was really good. It was a good time being penguins! :D
This weekend also included some good eats. Oats with Nutella and peanut butter is an amazing combo!
Josh and I made grilled cheese and hummus sandwiches with a side of grilled veggies! It was delicious!
I also picked up salad from Fiddlehead. I love their spinach, feta, walnut, and pear salad. All the ingredients taste great together!
Time to start my week! I hope everyone stays safe during the hurricane! I'm not sure what is happening in my area, I've heard so many varying reports, but school is closed for two days so I'll take it!
