We're moving to Omaha, Nebraska! This is going to be a huge change for us but one we're so excited about. Josh was offered his dream job and I'm so proud of him. We can't wait to see what Midwest living is like! His company is having us out next week to apartment hunt and get acquainted with the area. I've already handed out a few resumes so that I can hopefully find a job pretty quickly when we move out there. (We're moving two weeks after the wedding!)
I feel like everything in my life is speeding up and happening all at once. While it still doesn't all feel real the most overwhelming feeling I have is one of gratitude. I'm so happy, and so lucky, and so blessed. I get to move to a new city with the greatest guy in the whole world and start a life together. We get to explore a new area and make new friends and put down roots. I've always been a person to plan out my life but I never in my wildest dreams expected 22 could be this good.
I'm really going to miss PA. I was born here, and though I've lived all across the country in between now and then, this is the state that feels like home. More than anything I'm going to miss our family. But there's already lots of plans for everyone to come visit and see our new apartment when we're all settled in.
This is where you guys come in! Is anyone familiar with the Omaha area? Josh and I already have a pretty good list of apartment options to check out next week but we are always interested in hearing more. We're primarily interested in the Dundee/ Old Market area. We're also interested in restaurant recommendations. Omaha is supposed to have more restaurants per capita than any other city! And if you live in Omaha and like lattes and fitness classes and want to be my friend that would be pretty awesome too! :D
Question of the Day: I'd love to hear what it's like/ what to expect in Omaha!
