Our Wedding Photos

Our Wedding Photos
I can't believe it has been over a year since the wedding and I'm just now sharing our wedding photos with you. I have to laugh because years ago when I was reading about Daily Garnish's wedding, I remember being incredulous that she didn't recap her wedding until a year later. I didn't understand how someone who had such a beautiful wedding and was so in love didn't want to relive that day all the time. Now I know - beautiful weddings lead to even more beautiful days. :) On my wedding page I have previously recapped getting ready, guys and girls before photos, our wedding ceremony, and our wedding videos. All I have left now to recap is our reception! We got married at The Atherton Hotel in State College, and walked over to the Penn State Alumni Pavilion during the cocktail hour for pictures. It was a beautiful day - in the 70's and sunny but not too bright. Our wedding photos were done in about 45 minutes, and then it was time to head back to get family photos before being introduced and then partying it up at the reception. Our photographer remarked that we were the first wedding she shot that was actually running on time and according to schedule. One of the great things about planning a DIY wedding on student budgets is that you are intimately aware of every detail of your wedding and have had to plan, plan, plan absolutely everything. I remember as we walked the few blocks to the park I caught a glimpse of myself in a storefront window and was in awe. The room I got ready in did not have a mirror, so I didn't really get to see myself as a bride until that moment as we were walking down the street. Thank goodness for photos to capture it all! I'll let these photos do the rest of the talking. :) [Tweet "Our Wedding Photos #wedding #photography #statecollege #marriage #bride"] Questions of the Day: Did you do your wedding photos before the ceremony or during the cocktail hour? How was the weather for your photos? When did you have that "I'm a bride!" moment?
